The primary thesis of Lean On and Lead is that a successful 21st century innovation economy depends upon women’s participation in the workforce -- which is inextricably linked to policies and work cultures that support women and parents.  Lean On and Lead presents a diversity of interviews, ranging from students and educators to women in technology careers and members of congress in a next-gen iBooks Author interface that provides fun, easy-to-access, comprehensive content through audio, video, and graphic exhibits. The ebook was first published in November at the iBooks Store and was most recently updated with new interviews, data, and video in December, 2014.  Shay lives on Maui with her husband and two teenage sons, is a grant writer for nonprofits, a community activist, and the former owner of a children's bookstore.  Download a free sample here.
