WOC, Founder + Director: The Homesteadista, a media catalyst prompting every woman to take the lead in making significant social impact changes in her city. I'm also a single mom, feng shui junkie, feminist, environmental justice and gender rights advocate, foodie, and artist. A native Philadelphian, I returned to my hometown after over a decade living in Asia. With degrees from Sarah Lawrence, NYU/ICP and the University of Pennsylvania, I'm a 4.0Schools Fellow, mayoral appointed board member of FPAC, a trained Playing Big Facilitator, and a recent awardee the Poynter Koch Media and Journalism Fellowship (2019-20) and Lenfest Next Generation Journalism Grant.
My work continually evolves in response to a deep commitment to raising my daughter in healthy, safe, green, and inclusive spaces.
