Stephanie was an organizer with MomsRising, focusing on campaign and event support, paid family leave, early childhood education, food insecurity, disability advocacty and more. The need to find herself and her space through being the family caregiver brought her to volunteering with MomsRising. This led to more opportunities to use her real life experiences to help advocate for others, become an activist within the community and better advocate for marginalized individuals.
She and her huband, a lymphoma warrior, have 4 amazing children with the oldest in her senior year of college and youngest soon to be starting Kindergarten. Her passion for healthcare advocacy, disability advocacy, and paid family medical leave comes from being the primary caregiver for her daughter who was disgnosed with a rare disease which causes her to be intellecutally and physically disabled. Her children and especially her daughters strength and perserverance has motivated Stephanie to be who she is today.
Stephanie resides, with her family, just outside Pennsylvania's Capitol city of Harrisburg and she is elated to be part of the MomsRising team.
