With the 2016 election, Jenny went from a stay-at-home mom knocking doors in suburban Detroit with her newborn and preschooler in tow to transforming her marketing and design background into a new career serving progressive causes. She joined the Earned Paid Sick Time and One Fair Wage ballot initiatives and worked on interfaith reproductive justice organizing with the Economic Justice Alliance of Michigan and Mothering Justice. She became Communications Director for Congressman Andy Levin, fighting for labor rights, human rights, and a Green New Deal on the Education and Labor Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee, and Progressive Caucus. She loved working with MomsRising during her time on Capitol Hill and is thrilled to join their team.
Jenny lives in Huntington Woods, Michigan and has three sporty kids (thanks to their dad) and a nervous dog (thanks to COVID).
