Today, moms and kids across the country are putting on super hero capes and coming together for a national day of action to ask our Senators to be superheros for kids and support comprehensive chemicals reform!

Toxic chemicals found in everyday items such as canned goods, plastic wrappers, cookware and drinking water, are linked to cancer, early onset puberty, and obesity.[1] With comprehensive chemical reform we can use the best science to give families and businesses the information they need to keep everyone safe and healthy.

We think moms have enough to worry about without having to also worry about toxic chemicals in our homes, drinking water, and environment.

We know that not everyone can join these moms, kids and capes in person today, but that doesn’t mean you should miss out on the fun! We’ve brought together some of the top craft bloggers and they’ve created some fantastic tutorials so you can make your very own superhero cape at home.

So get crafty for Congress: Make one of these awesome capes, put it on, and back up the moms on the ground by letting Congress know that we need comprehensive chemical reform today!
