Meet Up!

On Monday, June 23rd, MomsRising members from across the country are coming to Washington, D.C. to deliver kites to the President on how our families need a lift because outdated Mad Men-era, work place policies are hurting our families and our nation’s economic security.

On Tuesday we need to tell Congress the same thing.

Can you join us on Capitol Hill on June 24th and help deliver to Senate offices kites and stories from working families around the country? RSVP here:

We need a lift! Right now, American families are trapped by our outdated, Mad Men-era work place policies: 80% of low-wage workers, and 40% of private industry workers are unable to earn even a single sick day to care for themselves or a family member, full-time workers often can’t make a living wage, having a baby is a leading cause of poverty spells in the United States, and child care costs more than college.

We need a lift, and all Capitol Hill does is make noise when they need to take action! MomsRising needs moms, dads, and family members to literally show up on June 24th to help us break through the noise and use our outside voices so Senators start to understand what’s really important in the lives of working families.
