Moms are a powerful and effective force for good, and they are particularly AWESOME at getting out the vote! This weekend, we asked MomsRising member Meredith Dodson, who volunteered to phone bank with our MomsVote program and is also the Director of U.S. Poverty Campaigns at RESULTS, to share her "why she rises" story with us.

“One of the things I love about being a MomsRising member is that I’m actively modeling for/with my children that I care about making the world a better place for all mothers and children. Whether bringing them to lobby with me (pre-COVID), marching in the streets as a family, or having them refill my water glass so I can keep calling and texting other moms to tell them to vote, our whole family is raising our voices together.”

Thank you, Meredith!
