MomsRising members and staff delivering health care messages to Congress

Time is short. Voting is happening now on the U.S. House Republicans' horrible new proposal for health care that, if enacted, could cut 24 million people off of health care coverage. So the clock is ticking for us to raise our voices—and NOW is a critical time to make our voices heard and for YOU to take action!

**Sign on now to tell Congress: Don’t take our health care! The American Health Care Act (AHCA) will cost lives and hurt our economy! http://action.momsrising.org/sign/AHCA_ACA_repeal/

We’ve been on the Hill this past week, talking with Congressional staff, and one thing is clear: We still have a chance to stop this!

We must prevent these dangerous cuts to Medicaid and rolling back the progress we’ve made in expanding access to coverage that’s saving lives and dollars. If passed, the ridiculous AHCA will put lives at risk and undermine the economic security that quality, affordable health care coverage brings to our families and to our nation.

This is an awful situation and the clock is ticking. So please take a moment to click and sign our open letter -- and to share the action link on Facebook and Twitter. Our voices have been making a difference on health care. Now it’s time to pump up our volume. The House Republican’s new plan, the American Health Care Act (AHCA), is a dangerous step in the wrong direction—it would harm women and children, people in rural areas and communities of color; while shifting costs onto hard working families. The plan obliterates the Affordable Care Act and proposes a weak replacement that would make health insurance less affordable, less accessible, and less comprehensive.

The AHCA, as currently written, will cost lives and hurt our economy. Sign on now: http://action.momsrising.org/sign/AHCA_ACA_repeal/

After you sign our petition, call Congress to say: “Don't take away our health care!” Just dial 1-888-523-8974 and we'll connect you.
