Jennifer Harvey is a writer, educator (Drake University) and parent interested in how social structures shape us and how we can transform ourselves into people who create more just and compassionate social structures. She is passionate about racial justice, the problem of whiteness, lgbt issues, community and spirituality. Her published books include Whiteness and Morality: Pursuing Racial Justice through Reparations and Sovereignty and Disrupting White Supremacy: White People on What We Need To Do.
In addition to blogging at Huffington Post and Feminist Studies in Religion, she updates her own blog, Living Formations. She is also an ordained minister in the American Baptist Churches (U.S.A.).
