I’m a mother of four and currently I’m pregnant with my fifth child (a baby girl). With each pregnancy I have had many new questions arise concerning my little one growing inside of me. The main question,  I had  throughout my first pregnancy was are these Braxton Hicks contractions or actual labor pains, with a little walking the pain went away and I knew it was just my body preparing itself for labor. Yes, I may have four children but I’m no expert and I’m a true witness no pregnancy is the exact same as the last. If that was the case I would choose my second pregnancy I had my daughter within two hours of labor as I was walking to my car.

In 2011 I was informed about Text4Baby from a co-worker.  It sounded like a great program so naturally when I got pregnant, I signed up to receive the text messages because I wanted to make sure I’m providing my growing baby girl with the best care possible. Text4baby has been very beneficial to me throughout my pregnancy. As I approach my due date I have many questions concerning breastfeeding.  Text4Baby has provided me information on the National Breastfeeding

Helpline and now I have a trained professional I can call to help me through the breastfeeding process. Text4baby has helped me realize how important it is to my unborn baby’s health as well as my own that I make all my scheduled medical appointments. I look forward to reading my Text4Baby texts each week because they keep me on track to ensure I will soon birth a healthy baby girl into this world.

Text4Baby sends me helpful reminders each week.  I’m no longer the shy, pregnant mom afraid to ask questions. When I was pregnant with my first child I was unsure on how to translate my feelings to my doctor in the form of a question.  I now understand that every question I have concerning my pregnancy is important, and I should not be afraid to seek answers from my doctor. This coming May I’m so excited about giving birth to my baby girl and because of Text4Baby my little girl will have a more confidant mom, unafraid to seek medical advice when needed.
