For the next two weeks, we have to pull out all the stops for the State Children's Health Insurance Program -- we need to get a 2/3 majority vote in the House and Senate to override the president's veto. Your letters and stories are an essential piece of this work! Send your personal story about children's health care to Congress here (don't worry, if you don't have a personal story about children's health care, you can still submit a letter - it is written and ready to go! All you have to do is hit "send"): http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/1768/campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=14806

Share your story on this blog, too! Your story may be the one that inspires others to action, or just lets someone know that they aren't alone in the fight to get health coverage for their children. Just go to "Post new comment" below and type in the text box. Don't forget to hit the "post" button!

And, if you'd like us to keep your story on file to share in the future with other MomsRising members, leaders, and possibly even the media, click here: http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/dia/organizationsORG/momsrising/quest...

The facts about children's health in this country show the tremendous need for health care for all children, but without understanding the real lives of every day people in this country, the facts can be easy to ignore. Tell the truth to Congress by sharing your experience of children's health care, or share why you care so much about children's health.

We can do it - let's make sure Congress overrides the president's veto of children's health care!
