Across the country, the government is increasingly interfering in the most private medical decisions of pregnant women — from court-ordered surgeries to criminal prosecutions for pregnancy outcomes. We must demand federal protections to ensure every person has the right to manage their own health care without the threat of incarceration or judicial overrule.

Public schools provide the foundation for our communities, yet a federal voucher scheme currently siphons vital resources away from neighborhood classrooms to line the pockets of wealthy donors. Sens. Mark Kelly and Mazie Hirono recently introduced the Keep Public Funds in Public Schools Act (S. 4297) to repeal this unaccountable program and return those dollars to our children. Your advocacy forces Congress to prioritize neighborhood schools, protects resources for teachers and counselors, and ensures that students with disabilities receive the specialized support they deserve.

A graphic calling for an end to the Epstein cover-up and demanding the release of missing files.

The Department of Justice continues to withhold millions of pages of records despite the legally mandated deadline set by the Epstein Files Transparency Act. While the DOJ has redacted information to shield the powerful and well-connected — including 37 missing pages regarding allegations involving President Trump — it has simultaneously failed to protect the personal information of survivors. MomsRising is demanding that the DOJ comply with the law immediately to ensure no individual is above the law and survivors receive the transparency they deserve.

Black Maternal Health Week calls us to be rooted in justice and joy. It requires us to imagine and build a world where Black mothers and families are not only surviving but thriving. A world where care is accessible, support is abundant, and joy is not interrupted by preventable harm. To get there, we must be honest about what stands in the way.
