Parents can always use extra hands--and while we can't give you extra hands, we can help you out. This holiday season we're doing a limited run of MomsRising tote bags as a gift for our holiday donors:Any donation of $35 or more will be mailed a gift of a free tote bag of your choice to help carry your load.

*Click here (or on the image below) to make a donation and select your gift of a free tote that comes with donations of $35 or more (and donations under $35 get a gift of a free bumper sticker):

These tote bags are handy, sturdy, snazzy--and, they give you an extra hand when you're juggling heavy loads!

Plus, while carrying this tote you can do your grocery shopping and mobilize your neighbors with the empowering slogans: "It's Time To Use Our Outside Voices" or "Moms Rising For The 99%."  (These snazzy slogans were created by, and voted on, by MomsRising members on Facebook and email polls.  We love them!).

What could be better!?

Well, as a double bonus, your donation to MomsRising right now couldn't be better timed. While the holidays are in full swing, another clock is ticking down: In just 13 days, the first official 2012 Presidential election nominating process will happen in Iowa.  But so far we haven't seen a single candidate seriously addressing the concerns of women, moms, and families.

That means we have to ramp up quickly and launch MomsVote--to make sure the voices of women and mothers aren't left out of the 2012 election season.  This is going to be harder than ever because economic security policies--like access to affordable childcare, fair pay, sick days, and more--that are critical to women, mothers, and families on Main Streets across the nation are often overlooked in what, frankly, are frequently testosterone-driven sparring contests between candidates.

We need to move fast so we can launch MomsVote 2012 and start the New Year by raising the voices of women and mothers in the national political conversation, educating the candidates about what really matters the most to women and moms, registering women to vote, and more.

*Your contribution now will enable us to launch our MomsVote campaign full force in the 2012 election season (and donations of $35 or more get a gift of a free MomsRising tote bag, while donations under $35 get a gift of a special free bumper sticker):

Every donation--no matter how large or small--adds up.  Together we're a powerful force.

MomsRising must raise $30,000 in the next two weeks in order to launch MomsVote 2012, to turn the attention of candidates to the economic security policies that are critical for families on Main Streets across the nation, and to bring forward the voices of women and mothers in the 2012 elections.

Together we can bring the voices of women and mothers forward in the 2012 elections--and change our nation for the better for our children, and for generations to come.
