It's just a few short weeks before election day on November 8th! We're fired up and ready to make a difference. You can join us!

We're very excited to announce the launch of a non-partisan election-driven campaign named #LatinasVotan that will start on September 15th.  What better way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month this year than to flex our power as voters? We would love for you to join us! Here are the details:

What: The #LatinasVotan campaign will spread the word about voting and promote the value and importance of registering to vote and voting on Election Day. We will use Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, SnapChat, Pinterest and Youtube to share the #LatinasVotan message!

When: The campaign will run during Hispanic Heritage Month, from September 15th to October 15th.

The 30-day video challenge will happen during Hispanic Heritage Month of Action (from September 15 to October 15).

How do I participate? There are many ways you can be part of this exciting campaign:

1. Create a short video.

We invite you to create a 20-30 second video -in the language of your choice- sharing why you're voting this election and inviting people to register to vote!

You can share your video on your favorite platform: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat! Make sure to tag us and #LatinasVotan so we can see it and share it as well!

2. Invite people to register:

Spread the word and make sure that your family and friends have registered to vote and that they will vote on Election Day!

  • Make sure to share the registration page short link: http://moms.ly/LatinasVotan.

  • Please include the moms.ly/LatinasVotan link in the description for the video when you post! The goal is that your video will inspire your audience to click the link and get registered to vote right then!

3. Support voter engagement via text message!

Join our text messaging platform by texting VOTE to 747464 (RISING) and in Spanish text VOTAN al 747464.  You’ll receive valuable information tailored just for you on your polling location and more!

4. Share these tweets on Twitter!

We’ve created some promo tweets to help you help us spread the word! All you have to do is copy and paste, and voila!
