I’m a proud mother, wife, disabled veteran, and passionate advocate for families, veterans, and those navigating the often-overwhelming journey of parenting. I’m here to share my experiences and perspectives on the topics that matter most to me—and hopefully, to you, too. As a mom to a blended family of seven children, including three with autism and ADHD, I understand the joys and challenges of motherhood. I’ve experienced firsthand the realities of burnout, mental health struggles, and the unique dynamics of raising children with special needs. As someone who lives with CPTSD, depression, and anxiety, and as a wife to a combat veteran with PTSD, I know how important it is to have open, honest conversations about mental health—not just for ourselves, but for our families and communities. Through my writing, I hope to shed light on these issues and offer support, encouragement, and solidarity to other moms and caregivers. Beyond my personal experiences, I’m deeply passionate about history, constitutional law, and our Bill of Rights. I love exploring how these foundational principles shape our democracy and the ways we can use them to advocate for a stronger, more inclusive society. I also enjoy discussing economics and how our system of government can better serve the people it represents. From the importance of a robust social safety net to advocating for veterans and their families, I believe in using my voice to inspire solutions and spark meaningful change. My hope is that through my writing, I can create a space where we can explore big ideas—like democracy, mental health, and family life—while also connecting on the day-to-day challenges and victories that come with being a parent. Whether we’re talking about autism in teens, the Bill of Rights, or the economic realities of raising a family, I’m here to share, learn, and grow alongside you. Thank you for joining me on this journey. Together, we can create a community that celebrates resilience, values connection, and advocates for a brighter future for all.
