Elizabeth Tatham is a wife and the mother of four. She is very involved in her community and volunteers for the American Heart Association and is a You’re The Cure Advocate at a grassroots and national level. Known as a bit of a health nut to most of her friends, Elizabeth was shocked with a diagnosis of a congenital heart birth defect at the age of 42, which required open heart surgery. With her mended heart, she has been given many opportunities to share her life adventures and the importance of living each day to the fullest. She also mentors younger mothers and encourages them to make their personal health and the health of their families a priority. Follow her on Twitter, @HopingHeart.
