Instead of helping, the Trump/Vance administration unveiled a website today that is a heap of garbage, a jumble of misinformation laced with anti-abortion, pro-natalist propaganda, and distortions that undermine the evidence-based medicine we rely on to keep our children safe and healthy.

“It is an outright lie for this website to say it addresses ‘the needs of mothers and fathers who face difficult or unexpected pregnancies and [ensures] the wellbeing of mothers and the health of American families.’ It does nothing of the sort, and by directing visitors to coercive crisis pregnancy centers, it deceives pregnant women and puts them at risk.

“Moms.gov is a joke, an insult, and a danger all in one place. That it is funded by our hard-earned tax dollars is an abomination. Moms want our government to cut costs and reduce inflation, make health care and child care affordable, improve maternal health, advance paid family and medical leave, and make wages fair. The Trump/Vance administration is out of touch and out of bounds. Moms and families deserve better.”
