Daniella Knight is a singer-songwriter, writer, pediatric sleep coach, activist, yoga teacher, wife, and mother of three amazing children. She has shared her family's struggles with lack of adequate parental leave, access to affordable healthcare and childcare, and safe schools for children and working families. She has always been passionate about speaking out against racism in any form, discrimination, and social injustice, so being a part of MomsRising was a natural fit.
A native of Brazil, and lifelong lover of music, she started playing the guitar to combat depression and PTSD. Her haunting voice, emotional performances, and powerful lyrics caught the attention of audiences around the DMV area, and she is working on her first studio length album under the name Tigerlily. You can listen to her first single here: Til You're 40
She has a Bachelor’s Degree is Communication Studies and has extensive knowledge and experience educating and advocating in the areas of child development, pediatric health, nutrition, sleep, neurodiversity, Autism and ADHD, LGBTQIA+, and maternal and mental health. She believes that we are all intrinsically interconnected, and that learning to be kind and compassionate to ourselves and each other is the foundation to a society that respects and nurtures every child and every family. When we build that foundation, there is nothing can we can’t achieve together.
