November is always a busy month, full of planning and anticipation for the holidays -- and full of gratitude and awe for what we accomplished together. We have one word for November: WOW! Well, actually two more words: THANK YOU!!! We just moved mountains together getting out the vote! The stats you’ll see in this email about our MomsVote program are beyond our wildest expectations. For instance, we had a goal of sending 3 million texts and calls to low frequency mom voters to get them the info they need to vote…. and we accomplished over 23 million (TWENTY THREE MILLION!). Thank you.

What we accomplished together across multiple MomsVote programs was nothing short of incredible. With support from donors like you, MomsRising volunteers reached tens of millions of mom voters via text message, phonebanking, our popular handwritten postcard program, our adopt-a-precinct Beacon of Hope program, via radio, on social media in English and Spanish, and so much more to get people the essential info they needed to vote (fun details below!). And we’re continuing to reach out to voters in Georgia as we speak. THANK YOU for helping our MomsVote program to be a resounding success!

But that’s not all we’re celebrating in November. Scroll on down to read about other recent wins, including on paid leave in North Carolina!

Thank you for being a big, essential, powerful part of the MomsRising movement.

P.S. With the COVID-19 pandemic, so many of us are juggling even more family demands and decisions this season than usual. We’ve pulled together the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on family gatherings that may be useful to you; please check it out and, if you’d like, please leave a comment to share your own safe and creative ways to connect as we continue together to fight this pandemic.

MOMSVOTE!

Thank you!!! MomsRising volunteers and members were more active in voter engagement than we ever dreamed possible. In fact, all told, we were completely floored by the level of volunteer participation in our voter engagement programs. To that end, below are some highlights of what we accomplished that we hope will be part of what makes you smile for the rest of the week -- and it sure is a big part of what we are grateful for in this holiday season.

*Scroll down to the end of this email to see a super fun superhero comic of even more stats of what we accomplished together getting out the #MomsVote in 2020.

Suffice to say our members stepped up and forward in an incredible way in 2020 — and the MomsRising staff team were all superstars making this happen. Check out the image above for some highlights of what we accomplished together (and don’t forget to scroll down to the end of the email to see even more!).

MEMBER LOVE

Members share how MomsRising is a positive force in their lives.

“Thank you so much for sending me 2,500 postcards. Even though my fingers and hand hate me now, it’s been so empowering writing messages to help get out the vote. My 80-year-old mother, despite the terrible arthritis in her hands, helped me, too. She could only write three postcards at a time, but she was so happy and thankful to be able to participate in this critical effort. Again, THANK YOU for all you do and all you enable us to do as volunteers!

MEDIA SPOTLIGHT

“How could a majority of White women support President Donald Trump?... The question is about so much more than this moment. It’s about a problem much older than Trump.”
