Popcorn, BINGO from your living room, and presidential debates!

Want in?

The first Presidential debates will happen this Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm ET / 6pm PT (and join us as the debates continue on Tuesday, July 30th and Wednesday, July 31st). In order to make watching fun and powerful, we've created a BINGO card to help you track whether or not the issues of greatest concern to women, moms, and families are covered from the comfort of your home.

**So gather together (your gathering can be you and popcorn, or you and your child, or you and your neighbor you get the picture!) and have a virtual party with us on Wednesday and/or Thursday nights.

*Click here to tell us "I'm in!" for a virtual BINGO party (even a party of one counts!) and we'll email you our powerful BINGO card:  https://action.momsrising.org/signup/play-presidential-debate-bingo-us/

(Just click the link above and we'll email a special link to the BINGO card directly to your inbox.  You can be a BINGO party of one, one hundred, or a million!

Play BINGO in real time on Twitter with @MomsRising and @MamasConPoder at #MomBINGO and #WeCareDebate. Join us!

*Here's how it works: Just print out the BINGO card of your choice from the link above (or have it up on your computer screen without printing it out). Then every time a candidate talks about one of the issues on the card, you can mark it down on the BINGO card--and maybe even raise a juice box or sippy cup in a cheer!

This BINGO card is powerful and reflects the priorities we’re hearing from moms and families across the nation. In fact, each square on the BINGO card represents a priority from our newly released “Mom Platform: Mom Crafted, Mom Approved” -- a comprehensive, mom-powered policy platform that we’ll be giving to every candidate for President. And by “Mom Crafted” we mean crafted by YOU!

We’re not kidding: Moms, dads, and families from across the country are lending their expertise and lived experiences to inform, craft, and build the Mom Platform. Moms are joining conference calls, sharing stories, and filling out surveys to ensure this platform meets the high standards (and needs and demands) of families across the nation. And we condensed this information from the Mom Platform into the priorities you see listed on the BINGO card. (Thank you to everyone who’s working on this together!).

All of this makes the BINGO card a great, powerful, and fun way to track if the issues that are important to women, moms, dads, kids, and families make it onto center stage during the debates. We'll be tracking issues like fair pay, access to healthcare, fair treatment of immigrant families, child care, criminal justice reform, gun safety, and other family economic and justice policies. And we'll also be tracking standing ovations, laughs, and even scowls! It'll be fun!

Here's how it works: Every time a candidate talks about one of the issues on the card, you can mark it down on the BINGO card--and maybe even raise a juice box or sippy cup in a cheer!

Why BINGO? It's not just about fun (although we're all for fun!), playing BINGO is also about standing up and being counted! We'll be letting leaders and the media know that moms, dads, kids, and even cats and dogs are watching and listening carefully to what they say about the issues we prioritize. So when you click the link to get your BINGO card, we'll add you to our tally of people who are watching for the issues that moms prioritize to be covered. This way we can let leaders and the media know that people across the nation want to keep these issues in the spotlight for longer than the duration of any one debate!

So, get your debate BINGO party on! You can even use it as a fun "teachable" moment with your kids about the importance of public participation.

*Click here to grab your BINGO card in English or in Spanish for a virtual BINGO party (even a party of one counts!)

For our part, we can't wait to play the game (And you’re invited to play in real time with us on Twitter and Facebook with us at @MomsRising and @MamasConPoder at #MomBINGO and #WeCareDebate), to sit down and tally up the marks on our BINGO cards -- and to keep letting leaders and the media know that moms are paying attention.

*Here's that link again to say "I'm in" for watching the debates and, most importantly, for getting your super fun and highly powerful BINGO card: action.momsrising.org/signup/play-presidential-debate-bingo-us/

Enjoy BINGO!
