Congresswoman Ross to Join Raleigh-Area Moms, Kids for "Moms Feel the Squeeze" Breakfast Wednesday Morning
Magen Eissenstat, 202/609-9889
On Wednesday morning, Congresswoman Deborah Ross will join a breakfast hosted by MomsRising to hear directly from Raleigh-area moms about how soaring costs are squeezing their families. At the lemon-themed event, moms and caregivers will share personal stories about how they are feeling “squeezed” from all sides, as the cost of child care, health care, groceries, gas, back-to-school supplies and more continues to skyrocket. Families will also discuss the policies Congress should prioritize to make life more affordable.
The breakfast is open to the media. It will include lemon poppyseed muffins, lemon rolls, and squeezable lemon stress balls. It kicks off a series of events hosted by MomsRising and its members across the country to mobilize families to share their stories and “stop the squeeze.”
