America’s Moms Say: Thank you, President Biden and Congratulations, Vice President Harris!

“America’s moms are grateful to President Joe Biden, who led the most pro-care, pro-choice administration in our nation’s history – and who selected an excellent Vice President in Kamala Harris. At a moment when a global pandemic devastated the country and our democracy was under unprecedented assault, the Biden/Harris administration stepped up with the mom- and family-centered priorities that lifted our economy and communities alike, visionary leadership, and the hope we needed to heal and thrive.
“The Biden/Harris administration’s accomplishments are much too numerous to list, but they include a fierce determination to put in place the robust care infrastructure – with paid family and medical leave; quality affordable child, elder and disability care; fair wages for care workers; and improved, equitable maternal health care – that makes it possible for moms, dads, children, families, businesses and our economy to succeed. And since the Trump-tainted U.S. Supreme Court unleashed horrendous hardship and chaos by taking away our access to abortion care and our bodily autonomy, the Biden/Harris administration has used every possible lever to protect the health of women and pregnant people.
“The administration has also worked tirelessly to stop the scourge of gun violence, protect voting rights, reform our tax policies so wealthy individuals and corporations will finally pay their fair share, expand the Child Tax Credit to more families, and create a path to citizenship for DREAMers, immigrant care workers, and other long-settled immigrants who make our nation strong. Further, the administration led on advancing many maternal health equity and access policies, along with expanding essential childhood nutrition programs. We thank the Biden/Harris administration for their many accomplishments that have lifted families across the nation and boosted our economy. We not only appreciate the leadership and work that President Biden did to advance our nation, but also the work of Vice President Kamala Harris.”
