As many as 50 parents and children will gather at the Bethlehem Co-op on Thursday at 4pm for a “Mom the Vote” Halloween party celebrating the importance of voting in the midterm elections. The event will feature free pumpkins for kids to decorate. Organizers will encourage parents to “Be A Voter, Raise a Voter” and share helpful information about how to vote, making a plan to vote, what’s on the ballot this year, and election-themed activities for kids.

The event is open to the media. It is one of thousands of “voting parties” that MomsRising Together members in Pennsylvania and across the country are holding this election season.
