Maureen Rashidifard is a (neuro-diverse) mom of two ND children. She has worn many hats in her 40+ years on this Earth, including Hairstylist, Teacher, Mom, Wife, Health Physicist, Artist, Sewist, Advocate and general rabble-rouser. In 2021, After struggling with her own mental health issues and navigating the pandemic with children, a full-time job, and a husband that travels, she quit her career in physics to focus on family, advocacy, and eventually her sustainable fashion and art business, Atomic Beet. In 2023, after participating in the NH Leadership Series, she became a founding member and Co-Chair of the NH Chapter of the Changing Spaces Campaign, a group that advocates for accessible restrooms with universal changing tables.(link: www.changingspacescampaign.com) Maureen's focus has and always will be on bringing attention to unjust systems and working to meet the basic human needs of all people.
