My two year old son was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when he was 2 weeks old.  My son’s pre-existing condition means that we would have been unable to find any insurance for him had we lost our jobs.

Approximately, 30,000 people in the U.S. have cystic fibrosis and many of them are diagnosed as children.  Although there is not a cure for cystic fibrosis, specialized medical care and aggressive drug treatments and therapies can significantly lengthen and improve one’s quality of life.

Keeping your child healthy is stressful enough without serious health conditions and fear of losing everything without insurance.
