On the radio show this week we cover Juvenile Justice Month and the importance of getting police OUT of schools and counselors IN schools. We discuss the movement to build a care infrastructure, including paid family/medical leave, childcare, maternal health, home-and community-based services, and living wages and a path to citizenship for care workers. Our guests also discuss the importance of childcare so parents can work, children can thrive, and childcare workers can earn living wages; and finally they cover the importance of paid family/medical leave and what you can do to help it pass now.

*Special guests include: Essence-Jade Gatheright, Chicago Freedom School, @ChiFreeSchool; Donna Norton, MomsRising, @MomsRising; Fatima Goss Graves, National Women’s Law Center, @NWLC; and Dawn Huckelbridge, Paid Leave for All, @PaidLeaveForAll
