Tola Sanni was the CFO of MomsRising from 2019 until 2023. She is a seasoned non-profit leader with over 25 years of Accounting, Finance, HR and Operations experience. She led the finance and accounting at NAB, where she spent nearly a decade at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB)(c6), the NAB Foundation (c3), and the NAB PAC, which together employed over 130 employees and had approximately $70 million in revenue. Prior to her role at NAB, Tola served as an Accounting Manager for several years at the Washington Post, which currently generates over $100 million in revenue annually.
Tola has a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Lagos, an MBA in Finance from Howard University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Tola has a passion for mentoring and work-place development. A strong believer in leading by example, she seeks out opportunities to create dialogue among her colleagues to foster better working relationships that create better work-life balance. The importance of balancing the work she loves, coupled by the love of family is what motivates her to work hard to ensure that when it comes to working, there should never be a choice between taking care of your family and working.
She currently serves on the Advisory Board for Women in Leadership Executive Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara PaCE.
