Trisha Sheehan
Hi Trisha! Tell us about yourself:
Hello! I am a mom of two young, active boys with a passion for healthy, holistic living. Besides volunteering my time with the Good Food Force, I help lead my local Holistic Moms chapter and work on fighting air pollution with Moms Clean Air Force here in New Jersey.

Why are food issues important to you and your family?
Food issues are important to me personally because my family struggles with food allergies. When my youngest was born and suffered from colic, eczema, skin rashes, and a whole host of health issues, we started looking at our diets. As we cut unhealthy foods out, we realized we were all getting healthier.

Why did you join the Good Food Force?
I joined the Good Food Force because the work that MomsRising is doing to eliminate junk food marketing to children and making school lunches healthier is important to me. As a mom who has seen her own children's health improve after cutting sugar and processed foods from our diet, I am excited to be a part of this movement to share the importance of healthy eating with others!

Help us speak out about junk food marketing to kids and healthy school foods! Find out more about the Good Food Force!
