Dawn Schluckebier is an Associate for Family Economic Success at the National League of Cities Institute for Youth, Education and Families. In her role, she provides support for multiple projects related to improving health outcomes and family financial stability. Current projects include an initiative to help cities develop outreach and enrollment campaigns to increase enrollment in Medicaid and CHIP, an initiative to help cities provide access to year-round meals for children through afterschool and summer meal programs, and a pilot program designed to connect residents in need to the existing financial empowerment services in their cities through city-owned water utilities.
