It was really great, and worth the slight hit in income for us. Although I realize saying this that I am coming from a place of privilege. We did still use part-time daycare because my husband's freelance schedule was too unpredictable for a true 'tag team' approach. And there were times we were like ships passing in the night. But on the whole I think it was a great arrangement, and I think our daughter did, too.
