Let’s Get Congress to Move on Toxics!
Posted May 21st, 2012 by Claire MoshenbergTomorrow, moms and kids are coming together in DC to ask Congress to protect our families by supporting comprehensive chemicals reform.
Right now, our outdated chemicals policy leaves us and our kids exposed to chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects, asthma, & other serious illnesses. We think moms have enough to worry about without having to also worry about toxic chemicals in our homes, drinking water, and environment.
Can you join us in DC tomorrow (5/22) at 9:30am on the Capitol lawn? Bring your friends, bring your families, everyone is welcome!

Here are all the details:
Who: Safer Chemicals Healthy Families, MomsRising, and you!
When: May 22nd at 9:30 am
Where: U.S. Capitol Lawn, Washington D.C. Between Constitution Avenue NE and 1st Street NE Senate side of the East Front Lawn of the Capitol.
The day will start with a press event, followed by a stroller brigade and meetings with Members of Congress where we will deliver stories from moms across the country supporting toxic chemical reform. It will be a fun day of action for everyone!
