I am a 35 year-old father of one son with another on the way any day.  A few months ago, I was diagnosed with a kidney disease. I have always supported the Affordable Care Act because I believe everyone should have access to health care.

Little did I know that it would be important to me.  Right now, I live and work in Japan but I have worried about how I would get health coverage when I return home.  Until now I never had to worry about pre-existing conditions or how health care companies would look at my medical history, because I was always healthy.

I hope those who want to repeal health reform will think about the real people's lives that are affected on a day to day basis by lack of health care options.  I want to be able to purchase health care like everyone else and the Affordable Care Act will give me a chance to do just that.
