		<description>As with all our national crises, common s(ci)ense has gone by the wayside.  Maybe we should start a national movement for a Constituional Amendment that no law or policy be valid if it fails to pass the common sense / science test.</description>

		<description>From the looks of our society and the number of STD infections in teens and the growing pregnancy rates among our youth, it appears that both comprehensive and abstinence-only programs are failing miserably in reducing these rates.  So why throw good money into ineffective programs?  I am not sure what the solution is, but I know if we don&#039;t figure it out, more lives will be affected by STDs and AIDs; and poverty will continue to follow children born into single-parent families from the irresponsible sexual behaviors of their teenage parents.</description>
