Discrimination by age

I am 69 years old and have several years as a medical receptionist and was working at a hearing aid sales office for $3.00 less than what I would make a regular medical office and was fired so a 24 year old with no experience could have my job. I have been trying to get unemployment for over 3 months and the state of Michigan has been giving me the run around. So I have been getting age discrimination not just once but now twice. I was able to send proof that my employer was lying about my dismissal and I still am getting denied from state. Today I contacted my state representative and hopefully they can get the issue resolved.
