Bring Kids to Interview?

I wonder sometimes if that is what is expected...after being unemployed long enough to have no more unemployment benefits my family of 5 (3 kids & husband) are surviving on food stamps and generosity of people we know.

My husband, who is also unemployed, and I have also been actively pursuing starting our own business(s) though the lack of money has been a major roadblock.

Trying to find work, start a business or even just update a resume is NOT easy with kids around who need love and attention.

While I am qualified for much higher positions, I am applying for minimum wage mall jobs so that I can get assistance for child care to pursue looking for work...it feels like a strange game of life that requires irrational steps.

We are both college educated and have a professional job history.
