Stephani Becker, Senior Policy Specialist. Stephani Becker conducts policy research, data analysis, trainings and advocacy on a range of health care issues, including the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and access to public benefits. Stephani is a member of the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health Navigator training team. She provides training and technical assistance on ACA implementation to certified enrollment specialists and community agencies in Illinois who help consumers enroll into the new Health Insurance Marketplace and Medicaid. Stephani also manages HelpHub, an online community of over 1,100 ACA enrollment specialists in Illinois and co-leads a partnership of Illinois funders and health policy/advocacy organizations. Prior to joining the Shriver Center, Stephani was Project Director of the Illinois Health Matters digital hub at Health & Disability Advocates. Stephani has an MPP from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a BA in English from Duke University.
