My brother could still be alive!
My brother worked for Wal Mart for 23 years & was fired for saying that Mr. Walton would be very angry if he were alive to see how his company was being operated. They were looking for an excuse so they could hire someone younger & pay less to. My brother lost his insurance & couldn't afford Cobra insurance. He had a stroke in 1993 so he had a history of high blood pressure & was on medication. He would purchase his food and other necessities before he could buy his medicine. He was having trouble with upper back pain & I told him to go to the hospital because it could still be his heart. He pulled into the hospital parking lot then turned around & went home. He called his best friend who begged him to go back but I know he wouldn't because he didn't have the insurance. That was on Wednesday evening. Saturday morning I got a call from our brother who informed me they found our oldest brother dead on his bed in his trailer. He had a ruptured aortic aneurysm. He was 53 years old. He didn't get to see any of his nephews or his niece graduate from high school. I'll never get to call him & trade jokes with him. He was the best brother a sister could have & now I don't because he couldn't afford health insurance.
