Working or caring for your child

I really don't have a story except that I am currently a single mother in the middle of a divorce and can not find affordable, acceptable child care to allow me to reenter the work force. To work a minimum wage job and pay $10/hour child care, just doesn't make any sense. The problem this is creating is I am going quickly in debt. My income to debt ration is way out of whack and I am creating all kinds of financial issues.

I am extremely fortunate to not have worked since I gave birth ten years ago and was not going to until our son reached the age of 16. That was our marital agreement, but it doesn't hold up in court. So I need to find employment that allows me to work from home or over the internet or where I can take my son with me. He is successfully cyber schooled and I will not jeopardize that education over this decision. It doesn't make life impossible, only drastically challenging.
