Being 55, it is difficult to find another position. I have been out of work for 9 months. If unemployment benefits were to be terminated, I would not be able to support myself. More importantly, if Cobra subsidies were to be terminated, I would not be able to afford health insurance, as I have pre-existing conditions.

Please recognize the precarious financial environment this country is in right now. Terminated the above benefits can only serve to make it worse.
