Disabled

I have been disabled for four years now. I am surviving on Social Security Disability for three of those years. If it were not for Medicare, I would have no access to health care at all. The proposed dismantlement of Medicare [that is exactly what it is], would not affect me as I would be "grandfathered" in. The reason I highlight grandfather, is because I have four grand-daughters and one grand-son. If they are disabled or they reach old age, what will they do? Will they take the "voucher" they receive to the insurance companies and beg for whatever coverage that they will offer? By the way, I have read the entire so called debt reduction plan and NOWHERE is there any requirement for insurance companies to honor the voucher or offer anything other than catastrophic care. I have always believed that Conservatives all want health care decisions to be made between the Dr. and patient, not third parties. I do not understand why anyone calling themselves conservative would back this bill. Let us all join together to vote out anyone GOP or Democrat who would put the health of their constituents last.
