Bridge for health
As a single mother who was assaulted by my sons' father, I had injuries that took years to heal. During my time of unemployment, my sons were on medicaid...tough for me to accept with my pride. My sons were both ill, and without medicaid they may have not made it through the years healthfully. It was a hard aid to accept but a necessary aid, thankfully. I have friends whose lives depend upon medicaid. It needs to be available for people who need it, and it cannot be simply lined out of a budget. That lineout would blacken the lives of so many who cannot live without it.
