Unbelievable, but true.  The New York Times recently reported that opponents of the Affordable Care Act are STILL mapping out “waves of attacks”--despite some extremists already having tried to roll it back more than thirty times in Congress.

The Affordable Care Act is in serious political trouble.

In this season of giving, it's time to stand up for healthcare.  After all, we know that this new law is about much more than the HealthCare.gov website, which reports show is working much, much better now.

The Affordable Care Act is about people: It's about the fact that everyone gets sick, but not everyone has had a chance to get better.  It's about getting consumer protections like not being dropped from healthcare just because you're sick.  It's about still being able to get healthcare even if you have a pre-existing condition. It's about everyone having access to affordable care.

And, it’s time for everyone to fight to save it right now.

Can you contribute $5 to our emergency campaign to protect the Affordable Care Act?

With your support, we’ll launch a massive public outreach effort to counter the “waves of attacks” planned by the opponents of the Affordable Care Act. We’ll collect stories from our members like Amanda Barrett, who has multiple sclerosis and will save $900/mo on her insurance premiums thanks to the new law. We'll organize people to deliver books of stories like Amanda's, along with signatures supporting healthcare, to elected leaders. We’ll raise these voices in local and national media. And, most importantly, we'll mobilize our million mom membership, on-the-ground and online, to send a strong message to Congress to let the Affordable Care Act work for America's families.

We need to act now! Already, many in the House have voted for a measure that would undermine many of the consumer protections put in place by the Affordable Care Act.

Our voices are needed now stop this rollback from moving forward.

When the going gets tough, moms get going! We don’t quit!

Thank you for your work on behalf of America’s families!
