We're building MOMentum in Washington on paid family and medical leave -- and we need YOU!
What’s a “Mom In"!?! Well, it’s when moms, and anyone who has ever had a mom, come together in Olympia to show strong support for paid family and medical leave to the leaders who have the power to pass this policy. Picture us all in fun t-shirts & temporary tattoos (they’re our gift to you!) in the legislature as the session opens — and, importantly, as the bill to make paid family and medical leave a reality for everyone in Washington is launched!
Following a sweeping victory on earned sick days, people across Washington are organizing in FORCE for a strong paid family and medical leave program that our families, businesses, and economy need!
Will you join us? Be there! Have a big impact! Bring friends, kids, everyone! Sign up to join us in Olympia to launch the 2017 campaign for paid family leave.
No matter what: Your voice is powerful and it is needed. And, we have a secret for you: Right now there is a rare opportunity to make a real difference. That’s why we are organizing people in Olympia and across Washington for a week of action to launch the 2017 campaign for paid family and medical leave. Will you join us? There are several ways you can rally support -- whether at home or in person.
- Join us in Olympia on Tuesday, January 10th for a Mom-In at the Capitol: We will send a powerful message to legislators that NOW is the time for paid family and medical leave and have a lot of fun along the way. We'll be meeting in the morning to make a powerful presence at the opening ceremony for the legislative session — and then joining a noon rally to launch the 2017 campaign for paid family leave! You can join for the full day or just for the noon rally. Either way, you’ll be sure to have a high impact. Bring friends and kids!
- Can’t be there in Olympia? Host a MomsMeetup on paid family leave and help organize your friends into action! We'll send you everything you need, including a t-shirt to say thanks!
Together, we can make Washington the next state to lead on leave! Let's do this!
