We have just launched a brand new online project to shine the spotlight on school lunches across the world!

In order to demonstrate what is really on the lunch tray and start an honest conversation about state of school food we are asking people to eat lunch in their school, take a snapshot, and share it online on our School Lunch Photo Wall. Our community will then rank these photos to see who is getting fresh, tasty food & who recieves processed, unappealing junk!

Through the Food Revolution School Lunch Photo Wall we want to celebrate innovation where it’s happening and light a fire for change where it’s needed. We have seen firsthand the great, good, bad, and ugly of school food. Under the same regulations about school food and sometimes within the same community, certain kids are getting amazing school food and others are eating unappealing junk. It’s time to talk about the differences.

How YOU can help?

• Eat lunch at your school – teachers, parents and students aged 13 and over can take part – take a photo & share your school lunch with us. (NOTE Each school has its own rules about adults eating lunch in the cafeteria, so call and ask for permission if necessary.)
• Rate the other photos of school lunches from across the world on our photo wall to help us find the best & worst!

We fully support the work that is already being done by school nutrition staff & lunch ladies across the world, however there is still a way to go for all our kids to receive a truly healthy, fresh lunch. Improving school food standards is so important to the followers of the Food Revolution. We must keep working together with our school nutrition staff and government to get the best for our kids.
