MomsRising, PICONetwork, UltraViolet, Children's Defense Fund and the National Network to End Domestic Violence are pleased to present this gathering of voices against gun violence.

Gun violence causes more than 30 deaths daily, yet gun manufacturers and their allies hope that the public will forget this inconvenient fact. We won’t forget.

Today marks the six-month anniversary of the Newtown school shootings, and nearly the fifth month anniversary of the tragic death of Hadiya Pendleton. While both those events were well covered by the media, the fact is that gun violence breaks hearts in families and communities each and every day.

We are joining together to remember the grave toll that senseless and preventable gun violence takes on our nation and to use our voices to turn anger into ACTION. Together we can achieve the meaningful gun policy reform we need for safer families and communities.
