The radio show starts off this week with the inside scoop on how some in Congress are gambling with children's health -- and what you can do about it.
Stand your ground laws and the sexist way they are used is next up on the show.  Then we hear from the Health Program director from the NAACP about the how politics and policy passage impacts community change and visa versa. Then last but far from least we cover the dizzying day of court filings that ended with a federal judge nullifying the ban on same sex unions in North Carolina that everyone's talking about. Wedding bells are ringing and people are celebrating.  Find out why!

*Special guests include: Ashley Boyd, MomsRising; Andrew Knapp, journalist at The Post and Courier; Niiobli Armah, NAACP; and Ashley Broadway,  American Military Partners Association.

LISTEN: In the DC-area, on many stations across the nation, and anytime on WeActRadio.com and TuneIn's Progressive Voices & on iTunes, where you can subscribe for free!
