You know the old saying: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is especially true for school-aged children who are growing, learning, and trying to achieve. So what happens when they can’t get breakfast at home? Luckily we have the School Breakfast Program in more than 89,000 schools around the country. Children who qualify receive free or reduced-price breakfast that meets the new healthy meal guidelines in a school setting. Unfortunately, the School Breakfast Program isn’t feeding nearly as many low-income students as it should be... Find out what we can do to get more kids to participate on the blog.

I’m Kelle Pressley-Perkins. I’m a G.R.I.T.- that’s “Girl Raised In The South.” I’m a veteran wife and mommy to nine awesome children.  
QC Supermom is my holistic service. As a mom coach, and brand consultant, I’m able to help moms become stronger mothers and get businesses in front of amazing families, via valuable resources, fun, educational, and affordable events. One of the things that I love to do with my mom friends is host Cooking With Kids Classes. Our children (2-14 years old) get together and come up with very tasty, healthy and really cute dishes that we moms get to enjoy with them. Without a doubt, mothers are the beginning of civilization. It is us moms that build the fiber foundations of our children’s world. We can mold incredible humans or destroy one of life’s greatest gifts.
