More and more parents are expressing deep concerns about the quality of food being served in schools. And, many are still unaware that there might be anything to worry about. Healthy Child Healthy World is taking our Eat Healthy program to the next level by joining forces with Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution and MomsRising to help propel national efforts to improve school food. Are you interested in helping?
The first step is helping us determine what the main concerns of parents are and how to best empower them. We’ve developed a very short survey and we need to get as many people as possible to fill it out to help guide our campaign and make it as successful as possible. Will you please fill it out and share with your social networks?
You can find the survey here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dGQ5UnVRRUVwLTNKZDFkb3phc250NEE6MQ
Jamie Oliver’s team is hoping to get feedback within the next week or two, so we’d really appreciate your immediate help spreading the word and encouraging people to take 2 minutes to voice their concerns (or lack thereof – whatever the case may be).
Thank you!

September 8, 2010 at 12:40 pm by PatI just found out that our children are not offered milk at snack time. That may be the only time the children are offered this during the day. What a shame. Our school received millions in state aid and yet these kids, many from rural, low income families cannot receive a healthy nutritious food such as milk. Shame on our school district
