Young adults (18-34 years old) are the age group most likely to be uninsured in the United States.  Currently, there is an estimated population of 20 million uninsured young Americans in this country. Is it invincibility or unaffordability that’s the cause?  Maybe a bit of both.

Everyday millions of Americans under the age of 35 walk the streets, drive their cars, participate in sports, and go about their daily lives without medical insurance; taking the risk that the "unthinkable" could happen. The Young Invincibles, in collaboration with HHS, has given creative millennials around the country the opportunity to share this good news with their peers.   Over 70 original videos were submitted to the “Healthy Young Americans Video Contest”.

Check out these videos and vote for your favorite videos here:  http://health.younginvincibles.org/video-contest/

Voting ends next Monday, November 11th so watch them now!   We’ll share the Grand Prize Winner and Finalists via twitter (@momsrising) on November 15th.
